How Much More to Wait Until I Get My Visa/Green Card

To skip the introduction and go directly to the information click HERE

(1)    How long will it take to get my visa or “green card”?  and

(2)    Shouldn’t I have  heard something by now?  I filed my case a long time ago.

It is frustrating just waiting.  We are the first to provide easy-to-understand answers to these questions by making INS's information comprehensible.

If you are our client you are welcome to look at this information.  However, we are always checking these times against when we filed your case and if your case takes too long we will quickly follow-up for you.

To use this simple table you have to know:

(a)    What kind of visa did you ask for or what stage of the GC case are you in;

(b)    If you filed a GC case you need to know if you used normal processing or RIR processing; and

(c)    Which Service Center or office of the Department of Labor did you file the case

If you aren’t sure which Center has your case please click below for a map. Then click on your state and find the service center in the third column from the left.

Testimonials
"
I have found working with the James Nolan Law Office to be a very positive experience.  Jim is very knowledgeable on immigration rules and the requirements for filing visa petitions.  Our Midwest location was never a problem.  I don't believe our petitions could have been filed any more quickly if we had used a local firm.  Jim's staff knows what information to request from you to complete the required paperwork, and they don't waste any time completing and submitting it to INS.  We are very satisfied with the work done for us by the James Nolan Law Office ."
